Women for Water Partnership (WfWP) is a worldwide strategic alliance of local, national and international women’s organisations and networks, active in the areas of sustainable development, water and sanitation, poverty and gender. WfWP consists of 24 women’s networks with subsidiaries in approximately 100 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, the EECCA region and Western Europe.
Since 2013 WfWP has worked extremely successfully together with international bodies, government and civil society partners in a number of occasions as the organizer of gender fora.
As a cross-cutting principle for collaboration between SDG 6 and 5: the gender fora functions as back-to-back events to encourage featured participation of women and youth.
