The international network for capacity development in sustainable water management, Cap-Net, was established already in 2002.
Cap-Net is currently composed of 23 affiliated regional and country level capacity development networks with over 1,000 member organizations in 120 countries. This structure supports triangular and south-south cooperation that may address capacity needs for implementation of the SDGs at the country level in a unique way.
