Through the ‘Water, Food, Energy, Ecosystem Nexus Programme’, the Global Water Partnership (GWP) is exploring and understanding the linkages and conflicts between the themes. The programme is coordinated globally as one of GWP’s strategic themes and is operationalized through the activities of the Regional and Country Water Partnerships together with a pan-African dimension. Specific nexus projects have recently been launched in Southeast Europe, North Africa and Southern Africa.
